    Also if you have not done this already put a summary about your web site with a link to it at the end of each e-mail you send (use a signiture). Really easy to do if people like your site then they will link to it naturally.

    I've been spending a good amount of time on the web lately, looking for high quality sites to feature on my site www.links.com. I have to agree, that high page rank seems to follow high quality. Google does a good job of this. In any case, if you feel you have a high quality site that needs better page rank, you can Recommend a Site, on links.com, and I will either put it on one of our permanent category list, or in our Blog of the Day or Site of the Day category. Links.com right now is a PR4 and no reciprocal is required. We just want high quality, unique/creative sites.

    IMO, Paid Dir submission is the most effective way to bulid link .

    Ran into a cool site the other day, AddAnImage.com. They allow you to submit images for free and by doing so they display your link. completely free and you don't have to register. I have a few sites of my own on there.
