Tell me some advantage and disadvantage of using facebook?

Hi Guys..

You all are using Facebook, Because it is a large social networking site and its prime objective is to connect with people for sharing thought and idea..

But still i am confusing about advantage and disadvantage using on facebook.

Anybody please help me to give your best answer ..........

 

Advantage: i can promote here and get better response from target customer.
Disadvantage: my family and friends told me that i am addicted to facebook nothings more i found.

 

Facebook is the best socialnetwork to get massive traffic to your site.

 

Well, if your business is not on Facebook, your customer will probably think your a dinosaur.

I have over 460,000 people on my fb page.. I see no disadvantage

 

I agree with Dany87. In the eyes of the younger generation, any business not on facebook cannot really be viewed in the most positive way.

 

The good point of face book is that you can publish your products and sell your things but i think mostly it is waste of time ...

 

Advantages: Easy communication, big social networking. Thousands of friends can be found easily. Findings many old friends whom with there was no communication many days, Status can be updated.

Disadvantages: Privacy-problem.

 

Advantage: Good advertising system, good wide audience.
Disadvantage: It's Facebook.

 

Disadvantage is that it eats your time
Advantage is on marketing side

 

Advantages:
You can keep contact with people from your childhood... plan reunions easily.
It's fun

Disadvantages:
Time-consuming
Addictive
LOADS of miss communications occur online, ruining friendships/relationships

 

I think is down to each person, to use this social media tool the best way posible to get most out of it. It could be time consuming for many people if they are not focused when working with facebook. Many people find themselves wasting too much time when they use it as a tool to promote your business. If you are using facebook as a way to promote your business, set a timer for 1/2 hour and do as much as you can without getting distracted, to be more producitve with your time.

 

As you mentioned in your question that Facebook may be used to share your ideas with the others,there are advantages as it helps to remain in contact with others,one can earn money by using Facebook,Facebook allows other to be informed of the events happened in one's life,or to other social event as peoples do talk about the events.Regarding the disadvantage,Facebook may be a wasting of time,it can heart the feelings of others if not used with the due care.

 

Every single thing might have disadvantage if you use it that way. don't bother about that.

 

according to me, there is no advantage at for personal use- because the information of yourself can be leaked.

if someone owns a website, its a perfect social tool for admin as you get free traffic and also great for supporting clients
