Tell all book by Russian Political Scientist labels Vladimir Putin a latent homosexual

Moscow political scientist, Stanislav Belkovsky, has released a controversial biography entitled Putin. According to Belkovsky, Putin's unhappy childhood left him shy, unassertive, and scarred to this day. The tough-guy show that Putin puts on for the Russian press, with his many homo-erotic shirtless photographs, is an act to hide deep seated his insecurities.

“The small Vladimir, who grew up practically without a father and without the love and care of his parents, was a withdrawn and grim child,” Belkovsky writes, according to Der Spiegel, the German weekly news magazine. He alleges that Putin was born two years before the year he gives as his birth – and that he was born to an alcoholic father. He says Putin’s mother shipped the child off to St. Petersburg (then Leningrad), where the couple who would act as his parents raised him.

The author is clearly skating on thin ice as recent Russian laws, passed by Putin make a crime the “obtrusive spreading of information about non-traditional sexual relationships that may arouse interest in such relationships.”. How much longer until Putin tightens the wording of that law, making it illegal to point out what is painfully obvious to everyone else.

We are just saying that, if Putin would come out of the closet, he would probably be a lot nicer to the millions upon millions of gay people in Russia he is oppressing with anti-gay legislation. Anyway, I read the author announced several months ago he is trying to get Ukrainian citizenship to protest the corruption in "Putin's Russia."
