You mean pictures of differrent members? I was going to do that, but didn't think it would pull more people in. Has anyone ever done this before? Does it work?

I had a different hit on the color. It struck me as too dark. Are your topics dark. Not that I see.

I would brighten it up. Color drives a lot of first impressions. Losts of folks will go ahead, check it out and get caught in the content. But there will always be this slight pall cast over the sight.

(Folks doing research on color are right on. That's why stores pay big bucks for interior designers to pick the color schemes.)

thats why ive done my research, and the research says over all boys liked darker colours (reds/blacks) girls liked lighter colours (yellows/pinks)

you ask a bunch of teenagers say 10 boys & 10 girls i think it would pretty much work out even 10 for dark & 10 for light colors.

There's a little history behind the site and it's dark colors :p. Twice we did try getting away from the green-black look, but members went off and started to riot, so we ended up staying with the green-black look. Now on the forum itself we have different skins installed so because not everyone likes dark colors like you said. Most members say the green is a trademark of the site. Yes I know, very odd.. :p
