lol i hope they don't hang her after a kangaroo trial. Maybe she invented a Weapon of Mess Destruction, them freakin out would make sense then.
Most Americans now are afraid of their own shadows now thanks to the "terrrrists". The government can get away with so much shit now under the pretext of "war on terror" which is a complete myth. There is no Al Qaeda there is no terrorism, just bad foreign policy on our part that creates young angry Muslim males.
They say 9/11 changed everything. It did. Now people are afraid, irrational, and have lost all moral judgment. I believe there is an Al Qaida, and there is terrorism. But I don't believe it is the existential threat that will last until the end of time, nor do I believe that it is a real threat to the overthrow and destruction of western civilization. Agreed. Heaven forbid anyone's child sets off some fireworks in a public place. They might end up in Guantanamo.
It is an exaggerated threat. You have more of a change of winning the jackpot than getting killed by a terrorist attack. Al Qaeda is an idea with no network infrastructure. It is a myth. Also the sept. 11th attacks were masterminded by Khalid Shaikh Mohammed which got financing from Bin Laden but was in no way a concerted "Al Qaeda" operation. It is pockets of angry young extremist Muslims that act independently not necessarily with orders from Bin Laden or this mythological network that is at the center of the so called "war on terror". We need to start understanding the psychological reasons of why people resort to violence and it is not because they hate our "freedoms" when in turn we know that in our society "freedom" is actually just a keyword. We think we have freedoms, but we really don't if you think about it. There is other people that have been pulling the strings and manage the masses; freedom, terrorism, fear are just instruments of control and domination.
I saw a few vietnam vets at the ron paul rally. I wonder what was going on in their heads when see Our soldiers dying in iraq every day. They know more then most people whats going on and i have a pull towards them the most because i had a few friends that died from the compounding effects of agent orange. It makes me sick.
