Technorati ?

Ok, I have had my blog, which is more a custom made thing, so nothing like Blogger or WordPress, it's just a simple query to the database and a few tags. Now for some reason Technorati hasn't collected any information off my blog for 165 days. Why is this?

Also does anyone know how to automatically ping? As I can't seem to navigate my way around their site. :/

I have pinged it, but it's not picking anything up.

My feed is located here: http://www.dalehay.com/rss.xml

It looks normal in Firefox, but the Online RSS Feed Validator thing for it keeps timing out. :/

Technorati throws the banhammer down often. It's likely you've been X'd.

But I would have had thought if I was "axed" then they'd surely remove my blog from their site. :/

They have 3 or 4 different bans and don't always remove you. Your feed is fried though when I click on it and they use autodiscovery so they are getting the bad one as well. Your autodiscovery links to a sitemap.xml.

    Cheers

Ooops, my silly mistake, yeah I had the RSS heading thing pointing to 'sitemap.xml' and not 'rss.xml'. Oops. I feel so stupid now. :p
