Marketers and bloggers, I have a couple websites that have added my blog to their blogroll or have made reference to it (with link) in their posts. Why do those links not register as authority?
Most of the time, they will only count those from blog posts. I believe it is also based on the authority of the blogs you have the link from. Recently, I noticed that they are counting less and less. My authority has dropped a bunch in the last two months.
yea, its pretty surprising cuz a high ranking blog made reference to me twice which didnt appear. It restricting small bloggers from rising.
