I was interested to see whether digg had a big affect on the blogs that were in the technorati 100. Ive just finished my research into this and heres the final post: http://www.clickalite.com/technorati-100-digg-homepaged-8000-times/ Basically i discovered that: 79 of the technorati 100 have hit the digg homepage out of the 21 that havnt 8 aren't english ARSTechnica is the most Dugg Blog (Over 1300 times) With Engadget 2nd hitting the homepage just over 1,000 I did it all manually so took a while, hope you like the results Feel free to digg / sphinn
thanks. I guess this leaves the door open for somebody to develop an automatic solution aswell which would be cool Repped back
Great research! So are these sites popular because they've been dugg, or do they get dugg because they're popular?
Funnily enough thats one of the comments I put on the bottom of my post In some examples; its 100% because they are Dugg, take IcanHasCheezburger for example But i think because a blog is popular (like engadget) people submit its stories because they think it will make the homepage..because its engadget There really are two sides to the story; thanks
I've only just seen this post. That is great work that you have done there and must have taken some time to do. I definitely have given you a +Rep for this.
