Hi peoples!

Well, this one is not actually brand new, but has never been announced before.

It's a technology site I've been developing for the last 6-8 months or so and finally managed to put in a "decent state" with SEF Url's, a nice design and enough information to make it public.

It's a PR5 with some PR on inner pages also. (was a PR6)

Please comment on it.

** Note that a few minor things still need tweaking, like the about us and contact us page. **

 

Nice design congrats. ads are very compatible with your site but I think you should remove image option from ads.

 

Speaking frankly it looks like it is ripped off from these free templates in the internet. But its only my opinion. Thats what you asked, isn't it?

 

PR5 so soon. Care to show /tell me how you managed that. Is it a dropped domain ???

arstan - Nope, it's not ripped from anywhere. It's a custom template and the header was created by my designer, that does all the work for me. )

ace.tuku - It's not a dropped domain. It was a PR6 when I've bought it. Non dropped. Since then I made quite a lot of work and investment there. The domain itself was regged on 2005-10-31

 

to many ads on first part of site.

 

1 - Image option removed from ads, or at least added option for text also.
2 - Changed ads layout for better integration
3 - Added translation module

Please give me your inputs, I could use some extra love on that site, specially to maximize visitors, as content is already a lot.

i really dig the site but the ads at the top turn me off you might do better with smaller ads at the top? i don't know maybe a smaller ad banner?

but really nice work the site's design is done really well and nice pr too

also you might want to make your own fav icon and not use the joomla one

fyi: your avatar no DP is kind of hard to read i dont know if it matters to you or not

cool site ! The 2 adsense blocks on the top might be "too in your face" and might turn off some visitors. They come to the site for content not ads. 1 block might convert better.

Overall a great design, However I'm not sure if I like the orange menu text..kinda hard on the eyes.

 

also ad some adsense links
and change the skyscrapers color

 

looks like web1.0 free templates and orange color is not nice. just my opinion

 

I would get rid of the adsense at the top (2 x adsense) and put the adsense search box in the right column. I would then just place 1 banner sized (or 4 link) adsense blocks at the top just under the header.

Also I would recommend using some images in your posts to break them up a little.

 

I think its got potential, I just don't see the template getting it very far (correct me if it has already) I think that a redesign would benefit this site alot. It seems you are making quite a lot of money from the ads, a remake would get you even more...

I would move the Google search box down below the content, so that at least some content shows above the fold on lower-resolution screens.
