I am trying to succeed with a technology blog i am creating. But i am unsure how to start getting traffic as it is not specified anywhere on how to start getting traffic from sites with niches such as technology, health. What i mean by it i will not be targeting any specific keyword, But i should be getting organic traffic. I don't know how it is possible and my rival geeksdesk.com doesn't seem to rank for any keyword except post headings but it gets huge traffic traffic rank 73k , How can i do this? And you will see traffic coming in..... Also have some activity on Social Networking sites like Twitter, Facebook and Youtube and share important topics... It will help you to gain traffics..... technology niche is very competitive. i would suggest you do some extensive keyword research to see what long-tail keywords you can target with your content. pick some long-tail keywords and create some content on your site for these keywords. build some high quality links (guest posts) with links to your homepage and to your article pages. you can use a service like myblogguest.com to get content for your site and to get guest posts on other people's sites.
