    Alexa: 290K
    Uniques: 33,000 uniques/month in June
    Age: 1 year and 4 months

    I bought this blog few months ago on SitePoint - http://www.sitepoint.com/marketplace/auction/7246 (this is not my bid there, I bought via PM)

    Since then I have increased the traffic significantly.

    Most of the traffic was (and still is) from Google images. The seller was making $100/month from posts sales, but I decided to take a different path. I was looking for a source of passive income and didn't want all the hassles of finding post buyers, posting and all that. Instead, I implemented javascript frame-breaking (to get read of the Google Images framing) and put Adsense ads. The CPM was a total disaster I must say, but with that level of traffic I still made $30 in May and $40 in June. I guess that a decent CPM network can do better than that.

    I have sold 2-3 posts eventually for $10 each (here on DP, see my posts history), but I haven't tried very hard, because that's not the way I wanted to go.

    Finally, I decided to sell the site because on one hand, I don't want to deal with post selling, and on the other hand, $40/month is not enough to distract my focus from my other ventures.

    I have no control over the backlinks, I don't own any of the linking sites. I don't see any reason for them to disappear.

    The auction will end today at 23:00 EST.

    But frankly speaking, as long as the bids are that low, it doesn't matter when the auction ends, I am not going to sell anyway. Even if I totally neglect the site, don't post myself and don't sell posts - it still brings ~$40 per month just from the Google traffic.

    My reserve is $350, so please don't waste time on $20 increments
