I knew it would be him who posted the comments. He's a regular on the talk I go on. I will remove them straight away and put some security into place and profanity filters. Can you give me a brief idea of tags, as i'm not sure whether to do them or not

 

Tags are good, they give readers a broad idea of what the scope of your blog is about. You are using categories like tags right now. You can use tons of tags on one post, but only one category.

 

I've introduced some security measures and filters. Any more ideas?

Looks pretty good, clean and userfriendly layout, you may consider designing some kind of graphic logo for the site.

 

I would have to agree with sydneyaus, I think you should come up with a graphic logo for your site.

 

Looks OK. The Search button overlaps the search box for me in IE7.

 

The black background is too dark.I'd suggest you to change to another color.

Nice looking site maybe needs a few more tweaks ---

I suggest:

(1)Try to post at least once a day - best to post 3 times a day

(2) Sign up at Technorati and claim your blog - Ping Technorati and use Technorati Tags

(3)Make it easier for readers to subscribe to your feed

(4) Allow Trackbacks - This is a must for good link building

(5) Use and SEO Plugin for wordpress to manipulate meta tags, title tags etc

I really don't like the colour scheme. The blue top banner shouldn't fade into black because its too overbearing.

 

Change the template! Most of site by using default wordpress template got little traffic.

You have a default template, I think you should get a unique template with a different color scheme.
For seo purposes you should consider adding more keywords to the title of your page. To improve
your rankings in the serp you can build backlinks through article submissions, directory submissions,
and blog postings.
