What's the best software/online apps that serve this purpose for designer->client team work. We tried Google Docs but sadly you can't add notes to JPG images (which are 99% of our discussion files), and you can't Make a table for all files uploaded that includes checkboxes for "Reviewed, Approved etc" We tried ProtoShare, but its way too slow on uploading and can't upload full directories (this is a big project with a ton of folders). Any other ones that come to mind? Features we need: 1) Notes to JPGs 2) Version Tracking (Revised etc) 3) Table-like structure for all files with checkboxes "Submitted, Reviewed, Approved etc." 4) Good uploading Thanks.
I have gone through a very simple but effective project management online app - Basecamp. Its from 37 Signals. Its pretty good enough if you are looking for some simple and fast online app. It can fulfill your above mentioned requirements. But if you are looking for some more featured and more powerful option then I think you have to go for some Desktop based software product like Microsoft Project.
