    Anyone see this? http://www.cnn.com/2006/EDUCATION/03/03/teacher.bush.ap/index.html

I guess it will be interesting to see how this one unfolds. Nice to know someone is trying to instill a bit of respect in our youth.

Apparently the teacher "violated a policy requiring balancing viewpoints in the classroom"

That does not sound too fair and balanced. Yet another case of emotion gone bad. Well, again, at least the school had the balls to remove him.

It's a shame for the teacher to do that kind of "instilling bad perceptions" to the students they don't like... It looks like the students knows more of the rules and they were the one who teaches the teacher what is respect and not being biased... Hehehe

What is more balanced then the President actually showing up?

Damn, this is crap! I find it insulting that they tell us High School Kids are adults and will be charged as adults if they commit a crime and then out of the other side of the mouth comes, holy shit, that teacher may influence those children!

What a crock! This is like assuming all those kids in the class rolled over and played dead. None of them are smart enough to have a differing opinion. But worse, if they argreed, they were anti american!

This is what out goverment thinks of kids. They are so transparent, kids should be insulted.

Oh wait, they were and they staged a peaceful protest. America at work! Imagine that, some of these kids are smarter then republicans!

noppid, you obviously did not listen to the recording of this guy. He is completely unstable and out of his mind. It was not like he was pointing out policy decisions and historical facts. He was on a soap box ranting. According to the student that recorded him, this is apparently all he does.

He is a geography teacher as I understand it. He should leave the politics at home. Having an opinion and knowing when it is appropriate to voice that opinion are two things this guy is apparently incapable of.

Read the story first, then listen to the tape.
