Ah, for the record, BBC is less than shady at times... They are kinda of like the British equivalent of MSNBC in the US...

The story itself is a bit questionable.. It does not cite an actual source, ie., a credible or reliable source with actual statistical data on the numbers it displays. What it cites only is "A Israeli Humanitarian Group". The article does not mention just who or where this "group" is, nor does it indicate where the numbers were derived from.

Like I have said numerous times here... "Just because you say it, does not make it so."

Not sure if this was mentioned as I did not read the entire topic but it is against some kind of Islamic law to name something, that is not a man, Muhammad. Fro instance an inanimate object or an animal.

I would like to point out that the bear was actually named after a boy in the class and not the prophet.

I was watching the pictures on the new of the thousands of people shouting, waving weapons & demanding she be killed, in absolute horror. There are people starving all over the world and people dying of illnesses like AIDS yet these people go ballistic because a teacher allowed a class of kids to name a teddy bear after a boy in the class.

Priorities people!
