Be careful with these people (anyone) offering to teach you seo!

You can learn it for free but simply - more links = higher rankings

There is more to it than that but you could look at software like senuke to get started and add in the other stuff that you already know too!

You should put your links as many as possible on other websites.... It's called link exchange. It needs patience to build higher ranks and exposure. Don't do it in several days only. Do it everyday little by little.

My Tips:

Go to blogs that are relevant to your blogs and put some nice comments on those blogs, and put your link at the end of your comment. Make sure that your comments are not like "Hey please come to my website" or some other cheap and spam comments...

And if possible contact the administrator of those sites or blogs and offer him/her to exchange link with you. You can do it in your comments too, but make sure ask politely. Meaning that you put his/her link on your site and he/she puts yours on his/her.

You also need to focus writing contents on high paying keywords. Meaning keywords that are often typed by Google searchers, etc. Like if you're in automobile business the keyword may be "Toyota LandCruiser".
