Buying Teach me how to change Domain for My IPB Forum - $5

    How big is your database? Might be easier just to import your database into the new "domain" database also carry over the files associated IPB i.e. mods, themes etc.. Just a thought.

    I just made it, can't be bother to reinstall it; it's pretty much a brand new forum. I just don't know where and how to configure it. I just want to change the a new domain name, I mean it can't be that hard right?

    Are you saying you want to simply change the name of your forum? Or you have to move this stuff to a new domain and or server?

    Change domain name of forum. Same server. Basically I misspelt my domain when doing the installation lol.

    Try that. I have not used IPB in a while.

    From another forum: On the forum itself you need only change the URL in the conf_global.php file, then also change the URLs in ACP >> Tools & Settings >> General Configuration.
