Taxi Women – UAE

    Ayda Sultan is a recently widowed 43 year old who became the first women taxi driver in the United Arab Emirates.

    The previous year the municipal council in UAE authorized women to drive taxis because many women refused to enter taxis driven by men.

    Wow, good for her. Women should get the opportunity to drive taxi and since women only want to get on one driven by a woman, makes all the sense to me.
