There is this taxi driver who wrote a book, now he wanted to market it online, but he had no appropriate skills, knowledge and may be the budget for it. Now he pulled an amazing offline trick which market his product which is a book very much effectively online without even maintaining a website. What he done is painted the free space on taxi's exterior with little introduction to his book and asked for searching for his name/book on google on all four sides of his cab. @dooly26: Ya but this tuned out little bit more than that, lots of free promotion without any cost, but still that guy had to first do that not done here earlier and then had to think out of box to let people know about that.
It shows that using all the resources you already have can yield better results than you first think! Maybe we have more to utilise than we realise? Thought provoking stuff!
^ Yes exactly, also tells if the offline marketing if done effectively can do wonders even for an online website. In my country there was a website who have placed bill boards all over country before launch, and on launch date it was nothing but absolute success. Another good example of offline to online marketing.

^ Yes and as time passes the word about him keeps spreading, either from one online source to another or in form of videos and photos of his taxi which get posted every other day, the people who spot him on roads of Pakistani twin cities.
