Not for me, but I wanna find something out for my parents.

Is it better for them to go to H&R block or some other place for people to do it professionaly or should they do it themselves like they have the past 20 years???

I hurd 90% of people do it wrong, so maybe they'll be better getting a professional to do it.. These are not buisness taxes so theirs not too many tricks. Gimme ur 2 cents.

Not sure about H&R block but an accountant is a real help. There is many things that they know and can give advice on that regular folks might not realise. Thats their job after all and if you find a good one he can save you plenty of money.

I do my taxes myself and I've had no issues at all. I Get all the proper funds back that I paid in excess. It just depends on if they feel comfortable or not doing it themselves.

I'm not sure I would trust a company that cannot get their own taxes right.

If I was running a buisiness I would definatly do tax's through a professional but for personal taxes I think if you are comfortable doing it yourself then keep doing it, however you might be able to save money with a profesional aslong as he doesn't have a bad name.
