I've only used AdSense once or twice but does it affect your tax rebate etc...? I noticed as you sign up it asks for your social security thats why I was just wondering
If you make money with adsense, you will be sent a tax form to pay the taxes. It doesn't affect any government tax rebate, but you do have to pay the taxes. The more you make the more you pay.
Your rebate? No. They DO report your earnings to the IRS if you are a US person, and thus you will have to file Schedule C and Schedule SE when you do your taxes. If you make less than $400 in the year, you should not have to file, though, and would not owe tax on it. Disclaimer: I am not a tax adviser, the above information should be verified by the filer. While I am only stating what I do, the above filing has been sufficient for many years now.
I consider my adsense earnings just like all other earnings from side work and report it on my 1099 forms.
I think you only have to pay taxes on it over a certain amount. I live in Canada so the taxes are likely different, but I know here you only pay taxes on earnings over $9000/Year
Yeah, you have to pay tax if your earnings are more than the limit of tax free earnings set by your country's government.
You don't have to pay tax if your not in the US i believe, i'm not worried at least, I think you can go up to $1000 in canada before you have to report tax
You are required to add Social security No only if your a US citizen, International Citizens need not do this
