I have a good question to ask.

I just got a tax return from www.worldwinner.com which is a gambling site. Anyway, It says something about $849.17 which is under other income. I was just wondering what that means? Also what is a tax return? Do I get money back? If I get money back, how much?

So what you are saying is that tax returns you pay money, and don't get money back? Makes no sense, cause I thought return in tax return meant you get money back.

Did they send you a 1099 form? If you make more than $600 by gambling you have to report it to the federal government and pay taxes on it.

what? Sorry, but I am a noob at this stuff. I pay for making money that I lost gambling? I won about $800, but I lost it all, cause I didn't win $800 all at once.
