Are they supposed to send a 1099 tax form? How do you report the earnings to the IRS?

    They'll send a 1099 if you make over $500.

How much are taxes right now anyways? How much should we be reserving for it? I was under 18 but am now 18 and make enough to get taxed so I think it's a good idea for me to start, lol, unless I feel like getting into some trouble. It's good to know CJ sends a 1099. ;)

Considering that inflation is a hidden tax, probably around 90%. Depending on how much you have sitting in cash or savings account, you might be paying over 100%. :D (Thanks God we don't live in a socialist country, I heard there taxes are higher than ours  )
Or did you mean income tax? That depends on how much you made, the more you make the higher % they confiscate :D

And how much other family members made. In the US, you are usually screwed if you are making higher 5 digits. If you made less than 6k you don't have to report it. It helps if you have children too
In fact, if you never filed before and IRS doesn't know about you yet, you could pretend that you don't exist and not file. Think what they may have on you. If you didn't file before, they may not even have a file on you!
Or you can pretend dead - put a fake obituary in the newspaper to make it look convincing. (Although I won't be surprised if they tax the dead too, I'm not going to hang myself to find it out) That's kind of the advise I got banned from Sitepoint for, perhaps I should shut up
