Confusing..?? OK..Let me clear my point of view. I did say I don't judge tattoos like text and numbers. In ancient times solders use to have only to identify themselves.Did they like to have tattoos ? I guess not. I said I dont judge a tattoo like "I love my dad"because one can express same feeling differently.on car/bike,in an album cover..etc.Things wont change. But when you put an art on your body..it stays forever. But we change. At the time you take tattoo all you think is, its COOL,ART,My body. When you grow older you wont feel the same way you felt before. Alodia, Do you show same interest to have tattoos when you are a mother of two children who go to high school? just be honest answering the question.
Obviously there is a chance i will regret EVERYTHING i do with my life (i'm exaggerating.. but trying to make a point.) If I lived my life second guessing every damn thing i do, i won't enjoy anything. Sure, i may regret this or that tattoo later on in life but do I care? Not really. I'll worry about that when the time comes, IF it comes. Second of all, I could care less what others think of my tattoos. I'm not going to spend my life worrying about what others think of me. That's a losing battle right there... talk about driving yourself to mental illness. Furthermore, i'd like to make one point very clear. I dont get just any old spur-of-the-moment tattoo. I spend lots and lots of time thinking my tattoos over. The tattoo i'm working on right now (which is just an outline at the moment) has been an idea in my head for the past 8 years of my life. Granted, I'm only 24, but I feel that the time is right to do it. The tattoo is very meaningful to me and connects me to my childhood.
Here is the main issue we are having with you Bharatmax.. stay with me!!!! You are contradicting yourself... one moment you are saying that people with tattoos have mental issues and the next you are telling us there are exceptions. According to you, since a tattoo like "I Love My Dad" is represented by an unchanging feeling (as in, you will ALWAYS love your dad) it is OK. But since art is a varying taste you think, sooner or later, we will all end up regretting those tattoos. I'd like to ask you this... how do these artistic tattoos represent mental illness? i.e. Anti-social behaviors and such. (Yes, i am going back to this!!! You still have not explained your position on this statement to my satisfaction. After all, it's a strong statement when you are (indirectly) telling me I have mental issues.)
If your tattoo is really that significant and meaningful to your life, you will enjoy with it.Go ahead
Alright dude, no need to call yourself dumb. But just be careful when you say things like "people with tattoos have mental disorders." Obviously, people are going to react.
Well it would seem you have come full circle, so I only have one question left for you. When are you getting your tattoo?
Yeah man, and you don't get jokes either. You've made yourself very clear.... you think people who get tattoos are dumb, that they have mental disorders, and that they have no idea what they really like so they should ask random people to help them make decisions --- and when confronted with all the idiocy of your statements, you just spew more nonsense and never once acknowledge the insults or make any attempt to apologize or explain why you call all the people on DP who do have tattoos mentally disturbed and dumb. Nice work, if you were trying to make yourself look like a dolt.
I am afraid that isn't enough for you . seems your hatred deserves better treatment. BTW, do you hate yourself too ?,Just asking .
How many tattoos do you have? Oh wait... you don't even have one and you are already a lost cause. A person who fails winning an argument (due to an interesting display of stupidity) resorts to do one thing... Trolling
He is lost. He wrote me a PM, and among other things, he complained that Emily was "unwilling" to accept his "good advice". Which was funny and all, but shows some serious delusion. So, for like the 100th time, I explained to him that he is rude and nobody asked for or wants his advice on tattoos. Then he want back and posted on this thread again. On a positive note, I guess he learned a new word reading my posts on this forum, since he says he never before knew the word "douche". I don't recall even using that in this thread, but at least he is learning new things.
I just thought she needed a practical experience. So like I said, I cut the crap like that.Worked amazingly,BTW.
