Hi guys! Im would like to ask the reasons and intentions of those who had an authentic body tattoo in this forum. Im planning to have mine this October and I would like to know if I really should have it. My tattoo would be a pentagram star at my nape I planned this a very long time never had the chance to implement. Hope to heard from everyone. Thanks!
I don't like tattoos, because if I had one I would be afraid that I might not like it in future and tattoos are permanent. And I would never like to have a pentagram tattoo. Other people might consider me an evil person because of such symbol.
Tatto is just not for me.....i just hate tattoos. It has become like trend to have tattoo.people have tatto just for fun and they'll regret it in future i assume.
I have a tattoo, more of a memorial though. It is a heart with gold wings and a dear relatives initials are in the middle. I have added to it over the years and it has become a mural of sorts. Get something that has meaning so you don't regret it later.!
I agree with StillIRise... make sure the tattoo is something that will mean something to you now and until the day you die. The worst reason to get a tattoo is because you want to look/feel cooler/more badass--that comes from within. Your reason for getting the tattoo should come from within as well. Also, make sure you go somewhere reputable. There are lot of bad tattoo artists out there. Make sure they have considered how it will age over time--the lines will blur, the colours will fade, and they need to think about this stuff up front. If you know someone with really good work, ask them where they got it. Also consider that different artists have different strengths; someone who can do really stylized, cartoony-looking work may suck at doing crisp geometric designs.
I'm actually a huge fan of tattoos. I have 3 of them currently. Two are small and the other one is on my side, along my ribcage.. they are my favorite hibiscus flowers. It's actually not complete becuase i need to color them in. Anyway, i like tattoos but i would not get them anywhere visible because i plan to teach one day and that's mostly frowned upon by colleges and universities. But i love a man with tattoos.. the more the merrier
Here's loyal DP member, tattoo himself with DP tattoo. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=442261
Thank you for all the feedbacks.. I've learned from you guys... My significant other don't like the idea and he said that's just a piece of garbage but I have the passion for it. The pentagram tattoo that is designed for me this coming October is a symbol of my darkhalf.. as we all know, all of us has a positive and negative side and by this means I show that Im not perfect and no one does. Thanks again
I don't like tattoos and think that it's rather expensive cost for 'the fake beauty'. I mean that our health can be ruined of that and the ink in tattoo is toxic and our body accept it like an alien stuff. So you should think twice before making it.
Not a jerk, Emily, he's just narrow minded, so something "out of ordinary" bothers him, but other than that, he's a good guy (maybe).
Nah g36, I agree with Emily, though I'm a guy and I'd be calling him much worse than a jerk if i wasn't new to this forum lol. Jerk or not, he's definitely an idiot. On topic though, I have a tattoo of my family crest on my back, reminds me I'm carrying my family with me all the time.
Well good point. But there is a way to present your argument and "Personally I think tattoos are for dumb people" isn't a great one. Anyway, I'm over it. Need I be surprised by the hostility of some DP members?... I think not.
So no wonder my comment made you angry.I do believe tattoos wont blend in to real social life.A research on tattoos showed that with tattoos one WILL have serious Mental Disorders. It increases with the number of tattoos. So if you care about yourself,Please don't get another. you can find story here http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art57938.asp http://l-pawlik-kienlen.suite101.com/what-tattoos-say-about-who-you-are-a61520 (similar story)
