So, she is finally getting out of India. Far from me to criticize a secular humanist, but she is just an attention seeker with tremendous amounts of self pity IMO. Some quotes by Taslima Nasrin: "I cannot endure it anymore," Taslima said on Monday. "I am leaving because there is no other option left for me," she said "I want to lead a de-stressed life and I want to live life to the full," "I have to leave this impossible situation. I cannot interact with people. I cannot anymore take this stress which has led to hypertension," "...It is like a slow and lingering death, like sipping delicately from a cupful of slow-acting poison that is gradually killing all my faculties" It's a shame that it's taken someone as fraudulent as her to speak out against Islam (and get noticed). Taslima Nasrin is a poser who has created all this attention for herself to promote her books. Anyone who reads enough about her will agree with my assessment. Opinions about her & the entire controversy surrounding her are welcome in this thread.
Taslima Nasrin has writtnen what ever can not demand the position of good literature. She has tried her best to attract people by writing against Isalm, the world most populous religion and ofcourse the most growing religion. She is successful in her motto. But surely she will not be successful in the after world. This make no sense to her. May Allah give her the right path to walk through.
