Can anyone throw a highlight on targetted traffic providers? Are they genuine? Can it be really helpful ?

Agreed - either work hard at gaining higher Search Engine placement - or just pay your way with adwords :)

You are right, only SE's can produce quality traffic....but i came to knew about some providers like Webtrafficzone.net , Blazingtraffic.com , 126hits.com ...which provide some targetted traffic (they claim)....for 10k traffic..they charge around 35 USD or so...

Has anybody tried them ? Are they relaible ?

If you are planning on using adsense, then that kind of traffic will get you into trouble. If you are not using adsense however - you can use those kind of sites. Just stay away from auto-surfs - nobody will ever see your site.

I have a high quality manual exchange if you are interested. If you want to buy some well priced visitors, just pm me and i'll hook you up ;) Check the link for free web traffic in my sig if you are keen.

I'm new to this....how these providers give us targetted traffic? Are they genuine....or just using some robots/auto surfers ?

Not sure what you mean by 'these providers', but my site works by having a group of members who all have websites that they want people to visit. They register their sites with my site - and then their sites are placed on a rotator - which allows all members to visit each-others sites.

We don't pay our members. The system is free, when you visit sites you accumulate credits, which can be used to have visitors to your site, have banner or text impressions.

If people don't have time to surf other members sites, then they have the option of buying credits.

    Hope this helps :)

Agree. It's not that effective. Everyone joining it only has one thing in mind: getting more credits. They'll click and hit back, click and hit back! Getting a visitor to even stay for 30 seconds is hard enough.

My suggestion for better traffic is by building a blog that links or promotes your real website. People in blogging communities are far more helpful. You can join them, and you'll find that it's pretty much similar to such traffic exchange programs, only better and more effective.

And you can still join them even if you don't feel like writing a blog. Try MyBlogLog.com and submit your site there. Build your own community. Make some friends.

I wish you all the best :)

If possible buy a space for your site at most suitable category/page in a running website. That definitely would help to fetch most targeted traffics for your site.

I have been working in the traffic exchange industry for 7 months now, and have found that there is a skill involved in keeping the average surfer interested, but there are definate techniques that you can employ that will boost the number of sign ups or encourage people to stay for longer.

Am not sure what you mean about the click and hit back thing. We have the latest in anti-cheat systems, so that when you earn credits, they are used to get actual visitors and wont get wasted. Try not to dismiss traffic exchanges because of people's experiences with sub-par sites.

If anyone is interested in learning the techniques of using this kind of marketing just let me know, I would be happy to help you out.

Place a subscription newsletter on your site and collect those emails, people leaves their email only they need to know more about your products or future offers, so they are very much targeted and also it helps to gain some coming back visitors in future..

Hi Cindy, Your method sounds interesting. Will it work even if the site you are listing is one from the mother company but with your own unique web address?

Fennimore I liked your blogging idea too, do you think its best to start your own blogg or subscribe to another blog first

You can use any page you wish - it works especially effectively if you design a splashpage, that highlights one reason that they should come to your site, loads fast and is eye catching.

We do not allow pop-ups, auto-surfs, HIYP programs, PONZI, Paid to read, Paid to surf etc. We run a clean site - all pages that are submitted are manually approved before going into rotation.

Thanks for giving me a chance to explain a little more :D

scart3r ! Your method of getting traffic seems to be semi-targetted...as its difficult to keep that visitor (who is there to earn credits) for a long time.

I think with the idea of blogging by Fennimore seems to be interesting. Should i sign up there and make posts at mybloglog ?

You are right, but that is why it's such a cheap option :)

I hope you find what you are after :)
