    Hi All,

I was hoping some of you might be able to give me some tips on bidding on Trademarked keywords in Adwords, using the following keyword as an example:

    "Trademarked Car"

Obviously the word "Car" isnt trademarked, however I am just trying to work out how to target the Trademarked word so that my ads appear when this term is searched.

    Cheers

    Jake

you won't get too much traffic because your "Trademark" is a unique term and not popular

you can target any keyword you want, trademarked or not.
the more niche the work the less traffic of course.
mind you that you cant use trademarked words in your ads.

for example i target all my competitors brand name in a competitors campaign. some of those keywords are trademarked but that should be a problem, i want that traffic exposed to my ads.

    hope i helped.

The one problem with bidding on trademarked keywords, is that if the owner of the trademark objects, the Search Engine in my experience goes right along with the trademark owner's objection.

I had the same idea a couple years ago but got into trouble because I used the Trademarked name in the domain name. I wound up having to surrender it to the "Owner". Yes, you can bid on Trademarked Keywords, but they probably won't be cheap.
