So I'm trying to figure out a way to get relevant ads on my Facebook application. The problem is that the Adsense code can't just be dropped into the application; the only way to get it to show is to stick it in an IFrame. But obviously that won't be a targeted ad since it doesn't have any way of accessing the content. Would dumping the user's interests field from Facebook into the IFrame be legit? I mean that's got to target ads excellently, right? If a user is interested in "Art, paint in water-color, friends, writing, astronomy, mathematics, geography, geology." Shouldn't that be of great value to the advertisers? If Adsense doesn't allow this is there an ad network that would target based on this info? Facebook does it with their social ads but they don't open that system up to publishers.
I believe putting adsense in an iframe is against ToS....not sure i'm still kinda fuzzy on this stuff.
