I was wondering how people can sell you targeted traffic, to lets say 40,000 people. I mean lets say you have a niche that isnt very popular. How does that work?
Hi, You question is a very good one. Sometimes the way to get the answer is to actually try the service for a short period of time and see what traffic you get. Depending upon exactly how they send you traffic, the HTTP Referrer will show you where the traffic was "referred from". There are sites where you cruise other peoples sites in return for traffic to you site and if one wanted to stretch the truth, they could call it "targeted", but generally it is useless traffic. google has a history of shutting down Blogger blogs that get traffic this way. So if you do run a test, the real bottom line is, does it make you any money? So be sure to be "set up" to tracking, so that you can decide the worth of the traffic. By the way, too much traffic is not a good thing, if you are running your site on a web host provider who has 3000 sites on one server (usually it's 1000) and you overload the server and the WebHost shuts you down. Build slowly and test, test, test. Hope this helps. All the best, InternetMarketing108
when they tell you "targeted", it is not really "targeted". most of the traffic seller can only sell you "targeted traffic" in term of the country, not the niche
the traffic that these traffic sellers send is not targeted at all its just traffic coming from sources or if it is targeted than that's not as good as you will generate yourself by SEO techniques
