Targeted keywords in domain name question

    Hey

Let's assume that I own a domain name ( .com ) with 3 words and the combination of these 3 words are highly searched on search engines. For example " MeaningOFnames.com "

that's just an example because it has 3 words in it....

Do I have a good chance to rank in top 5 for that keywords if I update the site around 3 times monthly?

My experince in SEO was always great , but those sites are blogs, I update them daily and I have a lot of backlinks...

My focus was always creating a lots and good content. I don't have much experience in creating " almost static sites " and keeping my main focus on search engines.

So what are chances that my site ranks in top 5 with main keywords in domain name and couple of unique posts with basic search engine optimization?

    Thank you

Every little bit helps. MSN gives more weight than Yahoo or Google for keywords in the domain name in my opinion. They all like fresh content. They all like inbound links with relevant anchor text from reputable domains.

The biggest positive for something like this to me is that it becomes easy to get "your anchor text" as the title when listing with directories that require the title to be the site name.

It also help a lot when you get natural backlinks because lots of times folks will link back with your domain name or some part of it.
