    Hello guys,

I'm planning on targeting specified country for my blog. But, I was wondering if something like ..
BlablaeGERMANY.com Will allow my blog to appear visitors from Germany more. Like, google appears results based on country as their priority first, then global. So is adding the country's name in a .com will help my blog appear for the country's visitor?

.Com and .Us is for America.... If you want to Geo-Target your Domain for some country, you can choose such extensions available....

Like mydomain.com or mydomain.com for USA

    mydomain.in for India
    mydomain.de for Germany
    mydomain.pl for poland
    mydomain.ae for UAE
    mydomain.pk for Pakistan

I hope you got the answer you were looking for.....

    Regards

That's what I'm trying to avoid.. I need a company registration to be able to purchase that. But still adding the country's name in the normal .com domain will work right?

Then the best way is to book a domain name in German language... E.g jetztkaufen.com for buynow.com... I tried to translate it from google translate...

Also find local searches for your targeted keywords and if there is any problem feel free to ping me any time....

What if the country usually use English to search their query?

then you have to create majority of backlinks from .de sites to get higher rankings at google.de

If there is any other question, don't hesitate to ask....

If you are targeting a German marketplace then get the .de and host in Germany if possible. The "local" market will have serious advantages over any .com version. Otherwise its down to getting some VERY good links from the country you are targeting to allow you out rank the natural order of things.

Perhaps add the country name in the metatags, but as already stated purchase a domain with the local TLD, use the local language etc.

Adding the country name in Metatags won't make one bit of a difference

What? So your on Google.co.uk and you type in Germany and expect because you have "Gemany" in your metatags you might show on Google.de? No chance
