Another "advertise on this site" method From what i`ve understoodconfused you are able to make a channel viewable by the advertiser . How would this affect revenue ?
I think that the publisher can see that custom channel . and he can bid for that custom channel only . i too heard about that i week ago . so i put one of my URL there and i am waiting for the result.
its for cpm advertising. Particularly handy if an advertiser only wants to advertise in a particular section of your site. (lets say you have a main site, forums and oh a gallery) they may not want to advertise in forums as they usualy get insaine page impression counts, so they may advertise on the front page only or the gallery only. this way they have more flexability as to where the ads go on the site and the thinking being that they are more likely to advertise if they have more choice.
