Target URL in a RewriteRule

    I need a tool that returns the target url using a RewriteRule.
    I mean, I put some thing like this:

    source:
    RelatosEroticos-25.html

    rule:
    RewriteRule ^RelatosEroticos-([0-9]+)\.html$ index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=$1 [L,NC,NS]

    and the tool returns:
    index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=25

    what's wrong with your rule?? can you please explain more about what you want to get and what you are getting???

    I don´t know that is the point

    with file urls like: http://domain.com-function-id
    there is no problem

    but with directory urls like: http://domain.com/function/id

    my apache server returns "File not found" and I don´t know why because I can´t see the conversion my apache server do.

    For that reason I need a tool that "converts" rewrite url´s as my server do to know what is going on
