    Ok well my blog is not getting relavent ads like when I search google for the keywords, G search has great ads, but my ads sometimes are about emails and other stuff.

    Do I need to add the target section code in my adsense code? How do I add the code on my site?

    You are not allowed to modify the adsense code. Some of the possible reasons are.
    * Your website/blog is not yet fully indexd by google
    * Don't have enough content
    * Failure to publish related content

    Possible solutions are:
    * Increase your link popularity by submitting to directories, link exchnages, etc.
    * "Content is the king" Update your blog with fresh content as often as possible
    * Make sure your articles are related to the target audience. A travel blog should come up with more travel realted article.

    maldives,

    Your "possible solutions" explain how to get indexed in Google search engine, but the quality of the Google ads is not related with that.

    oceanline,

    I had the same type of problem. I finally decided to use section targeting. Things have improved, but not completely and it toke weeks before I was able to notice changes.

    More information: What is section targeting and how do I implement it?
