I'm going to start and Adwords campaign, but wondering which way to go about it.

I have 2 options in mind.

    1. Drive my traffic to an affiliate link hoping that i get a good conversion rate by choosing a carefully selected product.

    or

    2. Drive them to my signup page (http://www.stehughes.net/social-media-solutions/) and hope that i get a good few signups so I can use them in an email campaign and potentially sell to them more than once.

Now, I know option 2 is the sensible option as you get the chance to repeat sell.. but I was wondering if anybody knew what the conversion v signup rate would be ?

    Tough question i know.

What have you guys done in your campaigns ?

No wonder if everyone new to Affiliate + PPC wants to know this before going ahead so did I.

In my experience, i sent 293 clicks (ultra targeted keywords) direct to the vendor site using Aff link - 0 Convert (Clickbank).

Used a landing page to review the product (just review not a hyped selling) and then to find more information about features of the product, sent them to the vendor's site. 1 out of 29 converts.. Not bad.. (I didnt used Signup form on the landing page, not easy to pass adwords review with signup form and afffiliate link together).

conclusion : Sending traffic to review page works better (But it might be differ in some cases).

Tip : #1. Make sure to have a clear privacy policy if you decide to put a signup form (Missing on your website) ..

There are many things on your website which will trigger their reviewers and lead to disapprovement. Would suggest you to take a look at Adwords Polices .Specially What should I know as an affiliate advertiser and Bridge page policy...

    Good luck
