    good advice given. the main point in all of the replys is pretty simple, your traffic has to be targeted or you won't be making much if any at all.

    find a place where you have a targeted audience i.e yahoo answers and profit

    ad placement is also very important. you have to keep in mind that there are certain "hot spots" that visitors' eyes are more focused on, thus, higher possibility for clicks.

    in order to get $10 a day of steady income (meaning it is not $10 one day and $3 the next), you would need at least 8000 pageviews a day, which is very hard to do with a blog, and a waste of time when u compare other niches
