Tanked Earnings Today

The problem is with yahoo displaying fewer URLS and longer descriptions in each ad unit. A small rectangle used to make two links now it only makes one larger one. I suspect this results in a lower CTR since there are fewer ads..

 

I believe you are correct on this one. There was a better chance of someone seeing an ad they were interested in.

I've switched over to adsense and seen about a 50% increase in my CTR and about $.05 per click.

Yes, I noticed a 50% drop in my earnings yesterday, however today seems to be back to normal, at least so far. There are always going to be ups and downs like this.

 

I had my highest paying day ever for the day you're talking about. I don't have any rectangle ads.

i reported record lows yesterday - im sorry, today has made yesterday look like i won the lottery and today uncle sam came and took it all away. since the ad changes on the 19th, i've been on the mudslide down to nowhere.

 

Now why do you talk like that. What happened exactly? It can't be all that bad.

 

My end of the day earnings are still around the same, but throughout the day, it updates pretty slow.

 

I'm having a better than average day. More clicks and they're higher paying too.

 

I can't believe how low my earning are for few days. Not even a fraction of before.
