Talkfreelance ripped again :(

This is the third time now and it's getting frustrating, i've already contacted the owner and hopefully he should take it down or else i'll need to contact hostgator (the sites host).

You know your site is jacked up in Firefox? BTW sorry to hear about your site getting ripped, that really blows.

 

Mabye you should stop making awesome site designs and keep the sweet content, then people would be like nah, I'll pass.

Nah... don't let them get to you. I know it's annoying, but no need to have an ugly site. You can have their site suspended by their host if they don't remove the design. Contact the host and tell them the situation and that you own the rights to the design.

 

Did they even pay for vB? I dont see a link but they could have bought the rights. If not vB may need to know about it as well.

 

Same thing happens to me from time to time. I even had someone copy a complete software interface of mine. He got away with it too. Unfortunately, he is in a country that is pretty much unreachable for me. At first, he made out like he was sorry and was going to remove it, but then he never did. I contacted him repeatedly, but then he stopped answering. I had his product removed from many sites, etc., but eventually, he had it added back. So, I finally gave up and moved on. This same person also copied parts of one of my web sites (a different web site than the product interface he copied).

 

It's probably the use of green and blue in your sig. It makes me want to click and steal.

Seriously though, that sucks and I hope their host does something about it.

 

Vb should somehow, probably via tos, secure custom graphics/templates/skins and enforce the power to close boards down that breech the tos.

Or create a hack that gives out unique passwords for every registered skin

you get the idea, and i'm sure it's possible.
