we deserve what? it is very important to understand why people do things if you want to stop them from doing it.it is smart and necessary.
why should i be ashamed? because i am a human being and value life?
or i am smart and looking for smart answers to problems?
you are talking about people that do not have running water, electricity, indoor pluming, roads,cars,doctors, medicine and almost everything else that you can think of. they have been bombed and killed for over 30 years.
they live in mud huts and even that has been bombed a few times.
it is stupid to drop a million dollar bomb on a mud hut. they will just add some water and they build it again. this is not a solution.
you should be ashamed of yourself for being so insensetive and blind to facts.

we have to do with taliban what we did in iraq. we have no fight with taliban. our fight is with al qada. localy we should negotiate with tribal leaders and have them deal with al qada. may be spend some money we have found the solution iraq and have the know how now..
in pakistan we should stand behind democracy. try to get the lawyers and judges freed.
long term we must help the local economy.micro banking is the best solution as far as i can see
in the mean time we can buy these historical sites and pay the locals for its upkeep

Yes there are good talibans who kills and rapes only nonmuslims, but there are bad talibans who kills muslims as well

i think we must follow the same strategy that Gen Patreus have implimanted in iraq, in afganistan, and push musharaf to use it in pakistan.
