Is there a software that can do this? I want to take a writeable CD-R and take everything off of it, to put something else on it.

    Thanks.

You can not erase and re-write on a CD-R disc, however it is possible if you have a CD-RW disc.

Windows XP supports erasing/writing of CD-RW discs but you can use Nero software too.

Use Nero or any other similar software to do that. If your CD drive supports it then you just need the software.

yeah CD-RW's are rewritable, not CD-R's.
    with CD-R's once it's on, it's on. :(
get a pin drive! they can hold way more info than CD's and are more portable.
