can you state some example. moreover, here people discuss various issues and i don't see any problem in discussing something taken from other forum or website.

Some people do that to make themselves seem like authorities when they're not. But yeah, they'll also post their own stuff just so they don't have to type out a whole new post.

lol some are taking content from others but with the intention of to disclose it with everyone who doesn't know about it or whether it may be useful for those who are searching for it. Nobody here wants to get praise for themselves. In webmasterworld, if anybody taking or pasting post from someone then they remove the person.

Action might be taken but i think after viewing the post as it is of the person who is posting or he is copying from somewhere.

On a forum it can be useful to share articles you find elsewhere - I'm not condoning scraping content here, but if you find something that may be helpful to others you should share it

It's always been like it - sometimes it's worse than others - but it a blight and a nuisance - copying and pasting whole articles from ezine or such-like. If you see an article that you think is interesting, point people to the article, and give the author full credit - don't pretend you wrote it. It pushes other genuine queries and comments off the page, it doesn't generate discussion because the person who c&p'd it most times hasn't even read it and so can't answer questions and comments about it, and it could make duplicate content issues for the author, if it comes from their blog, for example, as dp gets crawled and indexed so frequently.

That's not really the point. Is there any reason to copy and paste it onto DigitalPoint, that's the point. People posting 3 year old articles from ezine.com adds nothing, and is mostly done just to increase post count.
