Taking advantage of your own affiliates?

    I am fairly new to affiliate marketing but say your scrolling affiliates for your site and you find a trial or a discount offer that you want to use for yourself. Can you sign up for it or is that a big no no in this field?

    Generally frowned upon by most companies but check the TOS of the company in question to check.

    Other than a few merchants I know of on CJ that allow you to use your own link, it's not something you should do...
