    Hi
I Have started using the Co-op advertising network a few weeks ago.
Code installation and validation went well until I received this email today:

Of course that's the login page of the Blog's admin area.
Are we expected to put the code there some how?
    If yes, how?

    Thanks for your help

That is an automatic mail - the validator checks for the coop code on every page that is listed on google under your domain. You can prevent google from indexing that page with a robot.txt.
If you login to the coop admin and click the validation link, your site should be back in the rotation

Thanks, in fact I put the site back in rotation and so far had no issues.
As far as the effectiveness is concerned, I know rank number 1 and number 2 in yahoo for a 2-word phrase (760K results in google just to give you an idea).
I had done some link building previously as well so it's not only that but it does help.
