Taken out of rotation for RSS Feed

    I'm getting taken out of rotation for not having ads at this link. http://www.familyseekers.org/genealogy-blog/wp-commentsrss2.php

    Is this an error? I can't put ads there obviously. Will this happen to my vB external.php too or other rss feeds?

    It will happen to RSS feeds that aren't easily identifiable as an RSS feed (for example wp-comments-rss2.php would be automatically excluded (along with other file names).

    Yep, thanks for the heads up, that's the one that got me. I'll just have to keep an eye out.

    But I'm curious. vBulletin external.php is recognized I assume. Will there be an inclusion for others to be recognized or is there something we can do on our end?

    The only ones that are identifiable are ones with the word rss, rss2, etc. in the filename or with an xml based extension (xml, rss, rss2, etc.)

    i ve been running for over a month or two or more the coop on some sites,untill today i got an email stating that from one of my sites the backend.php doesnt contain adds.
    obviously this is an xml file,
    and thats also been indexed and used on other sites.
    so i dont really want change it to backend.xml


    but how do i get the site to get validated now?
