Take the Windows Vista Challenge.

This is spiffy and all but I can't justify using Vista on my home pc until hardware catches up to it. The type of applications I run at home I can't afford any sort of lag in my machine.

 

Great to hear that the tips helped speedup your system, I’m receiving lots of positive results.

actually i lied because you asked me to i didn't do anything with vista because like most folk i have xp on. I did it as a favour to you because you are a mate tonight i asked u to do something you couldn't be bothered so i just thought while the balls in the air. if the staff here have a problem with me doing this please let me know thank you all and goodnight

I love Vista! Its alot faster than xp (3GB RAM, 160GB HDD)

 

I think that’s part of the problem...
Because people’s PC are not up to running the software, if you have the right hardware I see no reason to be against it.
I would have hated using Vista on my old PC.

Agree brian you really need to have a system capable of running vists

once you have you will never go back to xp

 

still not convincing enough. its still unstable at the moment. not all drivers have been released.

 

I’m about to upgrade to 64bit so I will update you all.

I have only ever used 64bit vista and all i can say is it is very good.

 

Alot of people are against Vista because it's new, or the other guy hates it.

 

people should make there own mind up on vista not listen to what others have to say.

Just updated to 64bit Vista and I must say “WOW” Don’t waste your time telling me that XP is better/faster than this.
