Take credit card details on my site instead of paypal.com

    Hi,

I use paypal to process credit cards on my jewelry website,
Currently, when someone is going through the checkout process, he is being redirected to paypal.com to enter his cc details and then being redirected back to my site.

Is it possible to get the credit card details on my site instead of going through paypal?

    Note: I have SSL installed.

you need a credit card proccessing company - contact your bank if you need a marchant account.

If you just want a thrid party to process then use - googlecheckout or regnow etc. If they are only US customers then try propay

Yes I want to use a 3rd party processor. Can't I use paypal (maybe using their API) to do the processing on my site?

From what I understand from your post, google checkout can allow me to do so?

    Thanks,

You will need paypal payment pro, which is provide API, so you can create a form on your website and make calls to paypal.

It costs uhm... about $25 /mo... im not sure.. i dont remember

To protect customer, you also need to run the payment page on HTTPS and purchase SSL Certificate for your domain
