I am not so sure about the top bit. What did you do with About Us, Advertise links? Is is just some frost-look or what? Also, I don't actually think that anyone will click on 468x60 ad on the header, so I would remove it and place it, for example somewhere on the news story page. Everything else is fine. good luck with it!
try changing the links color.. the site has a dull color caz of that... except thats all right i gues...
