    hey guys just wondering whats gonna be my future pr for my site.
    here are the details.

    Backlinks:
    Pr0 = 519
    pr1 = 13
    pr2 = 19
    pr3 = 9
    Pr4 = 2
    Pr5 = 1
    Pr6 = 2

    my current pr is 3. what could be my future pr ? any guess.

    btw i have like 10k pages indexed by google but with msn i have like 1,500 pages only anyone know why ? how can i improve it.

    I was wondering if Pr matters to get a position with serps . i'm not even in 1000 results with my main keyword no idea why..please give some suggestion.

    You can't guess solely by those PR numbers, because for example the number of outbound links of those sites can make a big difference as well.

    PR will not help your rankings. Backlinks from relevant sites will. Backlinks from authority sites (sites that are already ranking high for a particular keyword are even better). If you get enough backlinks from relevant and authority links, your PR is bound to increase. It's not the PR that helped your SERPS, but the backlinks. Usually PR increases as a result of these backlinks.

    The value of PR from a link from a PR6 (or any number) is divided between the number of outing links on a page. A link from a PR6 page with 5 outgoing links has much more PR value than a page with 50 outgoing links because you are only sharing the PR with 5 sites instead of 50. For PR, a backlink from a PR4 site with 5 outgoing links has more PR value that a PR6 link with 50 outgoing links.

    Google only shows a sample of backlinks- it will always be less than MSN or Yahoo. Future Page rank sites are worthless in my experience (they are almost always too high). No one knows but google. Forget about PR, concentrate on relevant backlinks from authority sites if you want to increase your serps. Authority sites don't usually have PR0 pages unless the pages are new.

    If you want a guess, your site will be a PR4 - but that number in itself doesn't mean anything. I have sites with thousands of co-op backlinks that are a PR4, and sites that show no backlinks with google that are a PR5. Each increase in PR is approximately 6 to 8 times harder.... i.e. you need 6 times the number of similar backlinks to go from a PR4 to a PR5.

    I agree 100%.

    One of our sites. www.holiday-invitations.com is three months old, currently has a PR0, but according to IWebTool, will have a PR6. To go from 0 to 6 for a three month old site is a little difficult to believe.

    It makes you feel good, but reality will set in when the next update hits. I fully expect a PR3 MAYBE, at best, a PR4, but certainly NOT a PR6.
