I have recently started using Squidoo in addition to article directories like EzineArticles and Buzzle, as a way of helping people learn about my tea website. While squidoo has yet to be as effective as a traffic-driving tool as Buzzle or EzineArticles, I have found that using it and actively participating in the community there has helped me learn some things about keywords and tagging that go beyond. This has led me to rethink my use of tagging on blogs and start working on implementing a better tagging system on my other sites. Four of the six points I make are useful for ALL sites, the other two mainly for squidoo but may also apply to similar sites like a blogging community like Wordpress.

However, this tagging thing you posted will definitely help me, since I published a few new lenses in the last few days and need to push them forward kinda fast. I am trying to promote a post that is in the contest and need retweets, comments and shares. So I am using Squidoo as one of the promo strategies. Thanks!
